On Saturday we met at North Mountain Park for our monthly clean up. We had a great turn out. Twenty four people participated. This month we went off the trail to maintain an area of concern to the park rangers.  We hiked up the mountain to remove invasive plants, digging them out at the roots to improve the overall health of the park. A second team reconstructed a soil erosion berm that was damaged over the past year due to rains. It was hard work that we were up to.

In August we will return to Rio Salado Park to maintain the paths and help maintain the health of the park.
