We had a great clean up at Rio Salada Park in Tempe on Saturday. Over 20 people came to pick up litter and remove invasive plants. In only two hours we were able to clean and clear out half of the park, which exceeded the park rangers goal of the day.
Many of the bikers and joggers shouted out thanks for our efforts as they went past. Another result is a nice letter from the City of Tempe recognizing our efforts.
Keep up the hard and good work team!
