We have been shining lights in many areas in our efforts to analyze the current state of energy in Arizona and explore possibilities for increased solar. We have reached out to friends and family for their opinions on their own rooftop solar installations. Many people who have solar now had major incentives both from installers and utility companies, but these incentives have been seriously reduced recently. We have reached out to SRP to gather information on their EarthWise program (formerly Community Solar) which reportedly uses Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) created under the EPA to support renewable energy. We have reached out to the Grand Canyon chapter of Sierra Club for advisement on the past failures/successes of (RECs) and their future. And we have spoken to leadership at the Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association. Exploration of any and all avenues for expanding solar usage in the state are ongoing.
