Dear AzSA members and Prospective members,

Our team has decided that the best approach for helping our group to build a voice in the local community is through educating people and inviting our community to learn more about topics which may interest them. It is in this spirit that we have created a panel discussion at 24 Carrots Juice Bar and Cafe to allow local organic farmers to share with us what they do and why they do it. We hope that this will help us to find more like-minded individuals to join us at AzSA.

This panel discussion is not designed to be a single event but a series of events. The next planned panel discussion will be on residential housing and how we can make our homes more sustainable. After that event, we will deter our next discussion, which may be on Transportation and Logistics, Impact Investing, and Urban Agriculture: Aeroponics, Hydroponics and Community Gardens.

In addition to the panel discussions, we are creating blogs on the interviews our members have conducted with local business owners. This will be a continuing priority which will help build our knowledge of local businesses and how they are making our community more sustainable.

We are a relatively small group who is always interested in inviting more people to join us to develop new events to share with the larger group. These activities are not bound by priority area and so, we hope that everyone will find multiple homes within our group. There is always a place for artists, business leaders, politicians, and concerned citizens who are trying to better understand the relationship which challenges our community and provide us with future solutions.

Sustainable Business will continue to be an open community inviting all who show an interest in having their ideas discussed but you will be challenged to help realize these ideas with us.

Thank you in advance for your time, interest, and talents.

Best Regards,
Chris Ammon
