We have started building the second food computer with the Glendale High School Science Club for The Food Tech For The Future: Growing Digital Farmers project. This is expected to take until the end of March, and in April we will be installing a digital farm and starting experimentation. The students planted seeds in the first computer last week, including basil, mustard tender-greens, kale, and rainbow chard. Looking forward to watching the progress of the plants and students!

On March 27 we will be exhibiting this project, along with the Sow it Forward: Vertical Gardens at The ASU Change the World event. Come check it out! More info here:

Since our January event at Agritopia got rained out, we have two Help-A-Farm events this month. Spots are all full for Sunday, March 17, but we still have availability for The Farm at South Mountain on March 24. We will also be at The AZ Worm Farm on April 13. Please contact if you are interested in joining any of these events or hearing more details.

Last month we started strategizing for our Mayas Farm Documentary, where we hope to capture all of the great work Maya is doing in the name of sustainability, and highlight the work AZSA is doing to install solar panels and help the farm go off the grid. We are still looking for help coordinating this project, so please reach out if you would like to participate!
