The Arizona Sustainability Alliance hosted the 2018 Tempe City Council candidates for a sustainability themed forum at the Tempe City Hall on January 31st. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, AZSA does not endorse candidates and all statements made by candidates were their own.

Candidates were given an equal amount of time to respond to questions on the following topics:

  • Urban Forestry
  • Renewable Energy
  • Water Conservation
  • Sustainable Business Practices
  • Alternative Transportation

Audience members were also given the opportunity to submit questions in writing and a number of these were posed to the candidates. (AZSA had no part in formulating these questions.)

The unabridged video of the proceedings can be found on the Tempe 11 website.
