OUR PRIORITIES

Think Big. Act Bigger.

VOTE NOW

Our City of Mesa Priority Lead, Allison Boley’s project was selected as one of 200 finalists out of 2,000 submissions to State Farm Neighborhood Assist community grants. As one of the finalists, we have a chance at winning $25,000 to fund our project to provide energy efficient windows to low income neighborhoods in Mesa, Arizona.

The extreme heat in our desert location means we have to run air conditioners, and the more we have to run them, the worse that is both for the environment and our pocketbooks. Energy-efficient windows cut utility bills by 40-70%. The money these families save on utilities can be used for food and school supplies.

Starting August 16th anyone with a valid email address can vote up to 10 times per day! Of the 200 finalists, the top 40 vote-receiving causes will each receive a $25,000 grant.

State Farm Neighborhood Assist is a crowd-sourced philanthropic initiative that lets communities determine where grant funding is awarded. The program has been inspired by the incredible number of neighborhoods that are coming together to solve a problem or improve their community.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter as the voting window opens to learn more about the project. Voting opens on August 16th and closes August 25th.
